2022年7月29日（金）付の北海道大学英文ホームページにて、VRシアターが紹介されました。
広大な研究林や実験農場、海洋ステーションを有する北大は、フィールドサイエンスやサステナビリティ研究に強みを持つ大学です。
工学部に設置され今年6月から本格的に運用を開始したVRシアターは、360度の立体視でフィールドサイエンスを集団で同時に体験できる日本初のシアターとなります。
川村教授の専門である鉱山工学を例に、”VRシアター “や “バーチャルリアリティ技術 “の活用について紹介されています。
